Joseph Briers is a Bryan-College Station native with deep roots in Brazos and Grimes County. He has been with the firm since 2013 and a partner since 2017. Joseph's scope of practice includes oil and gas, real estate, and civil litigation. Land owners and mineral owners utilize his skills and expertise to negotiate contracts, draft various agreements, and resolve disputes. His practice includes the negotiation of oil and gas leases, pipeline easements, surface use agreements, water use agreements, seismic survey permits, and mineral/royalty interest sales. He also represents individuals, entities, and privately owned oil and gas companies in disputes involving oil and gas, real estate, construction, and landlord-tenant issues.
